• Location: Onsite, Wilmington, Ohio
  

• Schedule: School-day hours (aligned with student schedules) and virtual services during the summer.
  

• Employment Type: 1099 (Independent Contractor)
  

• Availability:Full-time or part-time roles available
  

This is an on campus Therapist role, supporting students and their families. You’ll be supported by clear workflows, structured onboarding, and dedicated internal support. The services are provided virtually during summer.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based individual therapy, group sessions, and crisis interventions
  

• Conduct intakes, mental health assessments, and treatment planning
  

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team—including care coordinators, school counselors, behavioral specialists, and prescribers
  

• Deliver services to both students and, when appropriate, their families
  

• Ensure documentation meets clinical and insurance billing requirements
  

• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation within HelloHero’s EMR
  

• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field and/or Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  

• Hold an active license in Ohio (e.g., LPC, LSW, LMSW, LMFT)
  

• Dependent and Independent licenses accepted
  

• Valid malpractice insurance
  

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
  

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, and school-based mental health
  

• Reliable transportation (for in-person roles)
  

Scheduling

• Services are delivered during standard school hours (typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
  

• Scheduling is aligned with student availability
  

• Structured caseloads and scheduling support
  

Requirements

• Active Ohio license
  

• 1 year minimum experience preferred
  

• Comfortable using technology for virtual service delivery, including online platforms and documentation systems
  

• Reliable internet connection and access to appropriate technology for virtual service delivery
  

Benefits

Compensation & Pay Structure

This is a 1099 contractor position paid on a daily rate basis or fee-for-service. Onsite days are paid at a daily rate and virtual services are fee-for -service. Compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, and service format:

In-Person Services: $30-35/hr. paid as a Daily Rate. Virtual services are paid as a fee-for-service

Paid training ($20/hour), including HR onboarding, platform training, and school-specific training
