Rate of Pay: $42

OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mobile Mental Health Licensed Professional to join our team. This role involves providing mental health services to individuals in various community settings, including homes, schools, and other locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health issues and be able to deliver care with empathy and professionalism.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Clinician will respond to mental health crises and provide immediate assessment, support and intervention.
  • Clinicians are required to be skilled in the clinical triage and assessment of all emergency, urgent, and routine calls
  • Knowledgeable about County resources with particular knowledge of the services of the Agency
  • Be able to assess needs of each individual served and intervene as appropriate to the situation
  • Be able to coordinate outreach services, service planning, follow-up support and administrative back up as needed and clinically appropriate
  • Work in compliance with MMHT, agency and regulatory procedural guidelines
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs in the community.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, social services, Law enforcements and community resources to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.
  • Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the community and healthcare system.
  • Coordinate follow up response to ensure stabilization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL / ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT:

·        Assignments may be determined at a future date

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility with hours as may require some evenings and weekends
  • Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s Degree AND NYS Licensure LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT.
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience preferably with individuals with mental health diagnosis
