Family Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Professional (MHP) to join our growing team. If you’re passionate about providing person-centered, trauma-informed behavioral health services and value working in a supportive, collaborative environment, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
Provide Comprehensive Care: Conduct person-centered, culturally responsive, trauma-informed clinical evaluations, including assessment of mental status, risk factors, strengths, needs, abilities, and client preferences.
Support Clinical Assessment: Gather relevant clinical and historical information, assess client functioning and safety, determine appropriate service needs, and formulate diagnostic impressions using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
Develop Individualized Plans: Partner with clients, families, treatment teams, community providers, and other service agencies to develop meaningful treatment plans focused on individualized goals and medically necessary services.
Deliver Meaningful Services: Provide outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, case management, Community Support Services, treatment planning, and other services within the scope of your qualifications and applicable standards.
Respond with Care: Address client clinical needs in a timely, responsive manner while maintaining a strong focus on safety, client preferences, and positive outcomes.
Collaborate for Better Outcomes: Work closely with clients, families, care providers, community agencies, and the treatment team to coordinate services and support progress toward treatment goals.
Document with Purpose: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, billing documentation, and other required records.
Practice with Integrity: Maintain confidentiality, follow ethical standards, practice within professional qualifications, and comply with Family Solutions policies, accreditation requirements, and applicable regulations.
Grow with Us: Participate in professional development, quality and performance improvement initiatives, team meetings, employee surveys, and other activities that support continuous improvement.
Deliver Consistent Services: Meet established productivity and quality standards while providing consistent, client-centered services. The expected productivity standard for this position is an average of 28 billable hours per week.

What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Demonstrated experience in clinical care may also be considered based on qualifications and applicable requirements.
Experience: Experience in clinical care required; experience in an outpatient or community-based behavioral health setting is preferred.
Clinical Skills: Ability to provide assessment, treatment planning, therapy, crisis intervention, case management, and Community Support Services consistent with training, qualifications, and applicable requirements.
Certifications: Ability to complete First Aid, CPR, verbal/physical de-escalation, and required clinical, regulatory, and HR trainings.
Driver’s License: Valid Illinois Driver’s License required.

Ability to pass required background and compliance screenings

Ability to meet Family Solutions documentation, productivity, and quality standards

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

Compensation: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
