Mental Health Caseworker-QMHP
Lakes Regional Community CenterResponsibilities includes assisting individuals with gaining access to medical, social, educational, and other needed resources, including provision of rehabilitative and skills training, case management, care coordination, treatment planning, crisis services, as well as documentation of client progress. Also provides supported employment, supported housing, and telemedicine services. Working computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Position provides direct services to adults with mental illness, and assists them to gain access to medical, social, educational, and other needed resources. Responsibilities include:
- Provision of rehabilitative and skills training
- Case management
- Treatment planning
- Crisis services,
- Documentation of client progress.
Also provides supported employment and telemedicine services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or better in degree from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling, social work, sociology, or psychology. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, as well as personal automobile liability insurance as required by the state of Texas.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior mental health experience preferred. Ability to communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced work setting; ability to plan, implement, and prioritize assignments.
