Memory Care Coordinator

The Gardens at Quail Springs is looking for a Memory Care Coordinator to lead our New Traditions Memory Care neighborhood. This is a leadership role with real ownership: over programming, over your team, over the daily experience of residents living with Alzheimer's and related dementias.

What You'll Actually Do

You'll build and run a daily program that gives residents something to look forward to. That means designing a calendar grounded in our Whole-Person Wellness model, covering physical, intellectual, social, emotional, vocational, and spiritual dimensions. It means knowing your residents: their histories, their preferences, what lights them up and what doesn't, and building programming around that.

You'll lead a team of care staff, coach them on dementia-specific approaches, and run the morning standup that keeps the neighborhood moving. You'll coordinate with families, work alongside the Director of Resident Care on care planning, and make sure your department runs clean operationally: budget, compliance, supplies, and all.

At least one community outing per month. Twelve hours of programming per day. A monthly newsletter. Seasonal decor. Volunteer coordination. It's a full role, and we want someone who sees that scope as a feature.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years working directly with individuals living with dementia, including leading groups, supporting ADLs, and assessing needs
• 2+ years in a supervisory role in senior living, assisted living, or memory care
• Solid grounding in person-centered care and current dementia best practices
• Calm under pressure, creative under constraints, and consistent when it counts
• Ability to meet applicable state regulatory requirements for the position

Bonus if you have:

• A degree in social work, gerontology, therapeutic recreation, psychology, or nursing
• A dementia care certification (CDP, CADDCT, or similar)
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
