- The Coordinated Opioid Recovery (CORE) Network is the first of its kind in the U.S. and places Florida as a leader in sustainable addiction recovery. The MA/MS Therapist employee in this position is responsible for providing direct treatment services in the form of group, individual, family and psychoeducational counseling to consumers in Substance Abuse Outpatient Program.


Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessment, group counseling, individual counseling and psychoeducation.
- Provide psychoeducation topics commensurate with knowledge in the substance abuse/mental health field.
- Conduct family, consumer-group and aftercare group sessions
- Assist in networking resources and referral services for consumers
- Maintain open communication and respect with referral sources
- Collaborate Citrus SA/MH services with internal and external service providers
- Maintain, within ethical boundaries, a respectful and productive relationship with consumers.
QualificationsRequired Education:
- Graduation from a licensed and approved college or university holding a Master’s degree in a Human Services field required

Required Experience:
- Minimum of two years experience in the substance abuse field/Mental Health field required

Driving Requirements:
- Must be Over the age of 21 required
- Minimum of 5-years driving experience required
- Possess a Valid FL Driver’s license (within 30 days of hire if currently do not possess)
- Possess a continuously valid US Driver’s license for the past three years, from date of issue required
- Safe Driving record required

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all professional interactions.
- Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant software for documentation and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and handle a caseload of clients with varying needs.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
