About the Role:

The Manager, Social Work and Outreach is responsible for leading and coordinating social work initiatives and community outreach programs to support vulnerable populations across the United States. This role involves developing strategic partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and promote social welfare. The manager will oversee a team of social workers and outreach coordinators, ensuring that programs are effectively implemented and aligned with organizational goals. They will also analyze community needs and program outcomes to continuously improve outreach strategies and social work interventions. Ultimately, this position aims to foster inclusive, accessible, and impactful social services that empower individuals and communities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent state licensure.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in social work, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Demonstrated experience in community outreach and program development.
  • Strong knowledge of social service systems, community resources, and relevant laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with diverse populations, including underserved and marginalized communities.
  • Familiarity with grant writing and fundraising to support social programs.
  • Proficiency in data management and program evaluation tools.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages in the U.S.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of social workers and outreach staff to deliver high-quality social services and community programs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate outreach strategies to engage diverse populations and address their social needs.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor program performance, prepare reports, and use data to inform decision-making and improve service delivery.
  • Provide training, supervision, and professional development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
