About the Role
Working as a therapist is deeply meaningful—and we also know it comes with real challenges. At Wellity Health, we’re committed to being upfront about both. We’re currently hiring a full-time Licensed Therapist who is committed to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment where consistency and structure matter.

This is a Full-Time, Hybrid position with 2-3 days in our Burlingame, CA office and the other days working from home. We offer a few options for scheduling including a 36-hour and a 40-Hour Clinical schedule.

While this is a fully remote position, it is not self-scheduled. Our team works standard 8-hour days, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and full-time clinicians carry a caseload of up to 31 - 35 weekly sessions once fully onboarded. This is a full-time clinical role with a consistent, structured schedule and full-time responsibilities.

In return, we offer paid administrative time, a collaborative clinical team, and systems designed to help you focus on care. If you’re looking for a role that will challenge you clinically, help you build strong therapeutic muscles, and support your journey as a therapist,, you’ll find that here.

While this is a remote role, it does require working in the state of California.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide 1:1 therapy for children, adolescents, and adults
    • This will include 5 - 7 client appointments of 53+ minutes each, each day, for a total of 31 -35 clients each week, depending on your clinical schedule.
  • Deliver evidence-based mental health care to adults and/or children
  • Create and manage treatment plans and clinical documentation
  • Participate in weekly supervision and team consultations
    • Includes two units of supervision and internal meetings on an as-needed basis.
  • Collaborate with psychiatry providers and broader care teams
  • Maintain timely and compliant documentation in our EHR System
    • Includes 24-hour turn around for followup appointments and 48-hour turn around for initial appointments.

What You’ll Need

  • Must be able to work in Burlingame, California
  • Active license in California (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW)
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, MFT, or Counseling (CSWE-accredited for Social Work)
  • Experience with CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care; EMDR or clinical niche preferred
  • Ability to sit with clients in emotionally intense sessions with care and clarity
  • Access to a quiet, confidential workspace with stable internet for days when you work from home

Who You Are

  • Organized, responsive, and ethically grounded
  • Collaborative by nature but confident working independently
  • Comfortable navigating a structured schedule and a full caseload
  • Passionate about serving diverse populations (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and more)
  • Self-motivated and dependable—you follow through without needing external reminders
  • Able to maintain focus and accountability in a remote setting, with strong time management and integrity in daily work

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive benefits, PTO, and sick time
  • Paid admin time & consistent salary
  • Ongoing training & clinical support
  • A mission-driven team that values high standards, integrity, and inclusivity

Pay range is based on both your years of licensure and clinical schedule. We also offer a 10% bilingual differential for Spanish-speaking therapists in recognition of the additional nuance required to provide therapy in one language while navigating clinical documentation, team communication, and organizational systems in another.
