The Wave of Clearwater is looking for a compassionate, creative, and clinically skilled Licensed Program Therapist
to join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team doing real, hands-on clinical work in a residential setting. You'll carry
a caseload, run groups, and be a steady clinical presence for clients working through some of the hardest chapters of
their lives — supported by a full clinical team and a program built around integrative, trauma-informed care.
Why The Wave
Work within an integrative clinical model — Gestalt, DBT, CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic, and Solution-Focused
approaches — rather than a single rigid modality.
Collaborate alongside specialty clinicians offering EMDR, ART, and Critical Memory Integration (CMI™), with real
interdisciplinary case coordination.
Join a program that treats holistic wellness, expressive arts, and daily structure as core clinical components, not
extras.
Be part of a supportive treatment team and consistent supervision structure, with room to grow clinically.

- Facilitate engaging, evidence-based therapeutic groups.
- Develop creative group content that addresses clients' clinical and recovery needs.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and other required clinical evaluations.
- Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans.
- Complete progress notes, discharge planning, and other clinical documentation within established deadlines.
- Assess safety concerns and participate in crisis intervention when necessary.
- Coordinate care with providers, families, referral sources, and members of the treatment team.
- Participate in treatment-team meetings and contribute clinical recommendations.
- Support continuity of care throughout admission, treatment, and discharge.
- Maintain compliance with ethical, licensing, organizational, and regulatory standards.
What You'll Need
- Master's degree in counseling
- Social work, marriage and family therapy,
-
psychology, or a related behavioral health
field. - Active Florida license as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT.
Experience providing individual and group therapy.
Strong clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to provide trauma-informed, client-centered care.
Behavioral health, mental health, eating-disorder, or substance-use treatment experience preferred.
