PACE Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Maryland-licensed mental health professional (LCSW-C or LCPC) to support a prospective school-based behavioral and mental health services contract serving elementary school students in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
The clinician will collaborate with behavioral specialists, educators, administrators, and multidisciplinary school teams to support students with significant social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide consultation regarding students' social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, school teams, and personnel to integrate behavioral interventions with trauma-informed and mental health-informed practices.
- Support school staff in understanding the impact of trauma, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and other mental health factors on school functioning.
- Assist with prevention and response strategies for students with high-acuity emotional or behavioral needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support the integration of mental health considerations into intervention planning.
- Provide consultative support related to student regulation, school participation, and reentry following behavioral or emotional crises.
- Participate in school- or district-directed meetings and trainings relevant to service delivery.
- Adhere to applicable confidentiality, student-record, documentation, and school-system requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Maryland LCSW, LCSW-C, LCPC, or other appropriate Maryland mental health license authorizing the individual to perform the required services.
- Experience providing school-based or child mental health services.
- Experience addressing significant social-emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs in children.
- Strong collaboration, consultation, and communication skills.
- Ability to satisfy criminal background, fingerprinting, screening, and other clearance requirements prior to assignment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with elementary school populations, trauma-informed care, crisis prevention and response, special education, and multidisciplinary educational teams is preferred.
Compensation: Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
