Therapy My Way is a growing private mental health practice in Plainview, NY, seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team.
We are looking for a clinician who enjoys working collaboratively while developing meaningful, long-term relationships with clients. Our practice provides administrative support and an established referral network so clinicians can focus on what matters most—providing excellent clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Conduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with families and other providers when appropriate
- Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of care
Qualifications
- Current New York State LMSW license
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to maintain timely clinical documentation
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Prior outpatient or private-practice experience is preferred but not required
