Hansel Union Consulting Clinical Psychologist Responsibilities:

What you’ll bring

· Establish rapport with all patients by consistently showing sensitive and empathic communication.

· Select, administer, score, and interpret clinical assessments and psychological evaluations.

· Monitor treatment plans and make adaptations clinically necessary or helpful.

· Consulting with care team and provide referrals or connections as beneficial for patient.

· Writing reports assessment reports for individuals receiving testing - for ADHD, learning challenges, or Autism.

· Participating in team meetings.

· Ability to complete clinical interviews to gather information necessary to

complete a final psychological evaluation report.

· Complete appropriate documentation including, but not limited to, contact logs, quarterly reports, and final dispositions

· Abide by the discipline-specific licensing board’s Code of Ethics (i.e., Virginia Board of Medicine, Virginia Board of Social Work, or Virginia Board of Counseling, Depart of Health Professionals).

· Ability to schedule and follow through clinical interviews and communicate with clients, support coordinators, and other supporters regarding schedule changes.

· Participate in continuing education as required by the discipline-specific licensing board.

· Maintain active licenses with the Virginia Board of Medicine, Virginia Board of Social Work, Virginia Board of Counseling, or Department of Health Professionals.

Required Qualifications

· Fully licensed in Virginia

· Have earned a PhD or PsyD in clinical/counseling psychology or neuropsychology

· Experience working with child, adolescent, and/or adult populations

· Trained in autism

Preferred Skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

· Experience with individuals in the ID/DD community

· Experience completing psychological evaluations
