Established in 1970, Boley Centers, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, Veterans and youth in Pinellas County. Boley Centers is looking for a full-time Day Services Supervisor, who will be responsible for managing the Life Enhancement Activities Program (LEAP) and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist (PRS) programs and related facilities.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate individual and group planning sessions, establishing dynamic curriculums for multi-sessions on a single topic.
  • Provide clinical documentation according to insurance expectations and submit to billing department in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate census for LEAP consumers.
  • Monitor assigned facilities to determine adequacy of services provided to consumers. Recommend and take corrective actions and coordinate consumer related problems and issues to ensure resolutions are determined and implemented.
  • Ensure, through frequent inspections, assigned facilities are maintained in good repair and meet CARF requirements, coordinate the maintenance and repair of facilities, and implement corrective actions in response to inspections by AHCA, DCF, CARF and other regulatory agencies.
  • Attend committee meetings and activities which may involve PREP reviews, staff and management related issues, training, quality improvement, utilization review, etc.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and data related to intake, transfer, discharge and other consumer movement.
  • Coordinate activities of team members so the principles of the recovery model are effectively implemented. Develop responsive services for consumers, ensure consumer needs and priorities are met and work with team members to assess the needs of each consumer to develop meaningful and individualized recovery goals.
  • Monitor program budget and approve use of program funds.
  • Coordinate access of community resources to LEAP staff through training, counseling and assistance.
  • Monitor quality and timeliness of consumer treatment plans per guidelines and ensure staff compliance with Medicaid, CARF and other requirements.
  • Recommend selection of team members, monitor training and evaluate job performance.
  • Review, complete and approve and check requests after ensuring receipts and need documents are submitted.
  • Participate in meetings with the treatment team members regularly.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master's degree in a behavioral health care related field. LCSW or LMHC licensure preferred. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.
  • At least five years of experience working directly with the chronically mentally ill population.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Valid Florida driver's license and transportation vehicle and insurance required.

Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.
