Job Summary:

The Clinical Counselor delivers psychotherapeutic interventions and group therapy to help pediatric patients and their families address underlying challenges, build effective coping mechanisms, and establish supportive networks, fostering stability in their daily lives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling and must have obtained licensure as either a social worker or professional counselor with the state of Ohio.
  • Skills: Must have strong organizational, computer and communications skills, strong ability to engage coworkers, program clients and partners in positive working relationships. Must keep client information confidential as required by HIPAA and other research related requirements.
  • Years of Experience: 2 years of previous experience as a clinician working with children and families.
  • License: LSW or LPC in the state of Ohio
  • Certification: N/A
