The Intake Team Specialist provides support in the planning, development, execution, and on going evaluation of Family Ties clinical intake processes, ensuring they meet all professional standards, licensing, and certification requirements. The Intake Team Specialist enhances the agency's capacity to meet legal, ethical and professional standards; this role also improves the administrative operations and service delivery speed. This role directly reports to the Intake Team Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Completes intake for the entire agency
  • Assigns caseloads (excluding DFCS Paraprofessional work) 
  • Ensures all referrals submitted to the agency are input into the eCaseNotes system 
  • Works with Regional Supervisors to ensure caseloads are clean, schedules are accurate and provided weekly in eCaseNotes 
  • Identifies any scheduling issues and submits them to the relevant Regional Supervisor(s)
  • Follows up with consumers with service authorization issues
  • Follows up with issues with referral
  • Responds to referral sources 
  • Report weekly intake data to leadership team

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Services or a related field, preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid Georgia driver's license; ability and willingness to travel off site
  • M-F daytime schedule (Hybrid schedule)
