At Youth Haven Services, our mission is to support the healing and growth of children, adolescents, and families through empowerment and hope. Serving Rockingham County and surrounding communities, we are seeking a compassionate and motivated therapist to join our Residential Program team.

This rewarding part-time position (26 hours per week) provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth with mental and behavioral health needs. The therapist will provide clinical services within our residential and day treatment programs while collaborating with treatment teams to support positive outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities



Provide individual, group, and family therapy (when appropriate and approved).


Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and reassessments for youth in care.


Coordinate clinical care and collaborate with treatment teams, DSS, MCOs, and other community partners.


Attend Child and Family Treatment Team meetings as needed.


Assist with placement planning and coordination of outside evaluations and assessments.


Provide clinical supervision documentation for staff.


Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).


Support clients during crisis intervention and de-escalation situations.


Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Required



Master's degree in a Human Services or related field.


Mental health licensure (full or provisional: LCSW, LCSWA, LPC, LCMHC).


Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.


Proficiency with electronic health records and standard computer applications.



Preferred



At least two years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents experiencing mental or behavioral health challenges.


Knowledge of community resources and service systems.
