First Responder Wellness is seeking a Group Facilitator to provide clinical support and facilitate therapeutic groups for participants working toward personal, social, educational, and vocational goals. This role maintains a clinical caseload, provides crisis intervention as needed, and ensures timely, accurate documentation in accordance with certification, insurance, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 

Key Responsibilities

· Facilitate engaging, evidence-informed group counseling sessions and develop relevant group materials.

· Maintain an assigned participant caseload and complete clinical documentation within 24 hours of services.

· Provide crisis intervention and clinical support as needed.

· Coordinate participant care with the treatment team and provide clinical updates at monthly treatment team meetings.

· Support case management activities, including vocational and volunteer coordination, FMLA coordination, and discharge/aftercare planning.

· Maintain participant confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and applicable laws and regulations.

· Participate in quarterly supervision with the Director.

· Research and incorporate new clinical methodologies and approaches into group programming.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

· At least 18 years of age.

· Licensed or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, AMFT, ACSW, or APCC.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience evaluating and/or treating individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use concerns.

· Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to facilitate effective group and individual counseling and documentation.

· Knowledge of HIPAA, confidentiality, addiction-related behaviors and emotions, ACA intervention strategies, FMLA coordination, and discharge/aftercare planning.
