Foster Care Supervisor 
Are you called to a meaningful career advocating for Home, Healing, and Hope for children in foster care?  4KIDS is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Foster Care Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight to a team supporting foster families throughout the ongoing foster parent training, licensing, and relicensing process.  This role ensures families are equipped, supported, and aligned with agency and state requirements while ensuring children and youth receive excellent, Christ-centered care in a safe, nurturing, and well supported home environment. 
 
What You'll Do:
  • Model Christ-like leadership to foster parent support specialist team members, fostering a culture of encouragement, accountability, and purpose
  • Maintain consistent communication with foster families throughout licensing, relicensing, training, and support
  • Oversee timely completion and submission of licensing and relicensing documentation in compliance with DCF and 4KIDS requirements
  • Oversee support for foster families to ensure stability and success
  • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation
  • Support incident reporting and emergency response as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community partners
  • Participate in recruitment efforts and foster parent training for foster families
Qualifications:
  • Committed Christian with alignment with 4KIDS Statemen of Faith, mission, and core values
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field with 2+ years of experience (or Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience)
  • Current Child Welfare Certification
  • Experience in child welfare or human services
  • Knowledge of trauma informed care and best practices for serving children and youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, trauma, or placement disruption
  • Passion for serving children and families through a ministry-minded approach
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong crisis management, problem-solving, and decision making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, evenings, weekends, and after-hours support as foster care program needs require
