We are currently seeking a Counselor to work onsite as an independent contractor at our customer location in Ashburn, VA. This position is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.


What You’ll Do:
• Develop and conduct training and information seminars for administration and employee groups on mental health and well-being subjects related to the EAP Program.
• As needed, respond to workplace critical incidents onsite to provide individual and group debriefings to support administration and employees.
• Provide individual and group support to clients on a wide range of issues, including personal and mental health concerns.
• Conduct assessments and development support plans for clients experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Providing follow-up and monitoring support.
• Connect clients with appropriate community resources and support services, such as housing assistance, food security programs and mental health treatment facilities. Educate on EAP services available.
• Represent and promote EAP services at organizational health fairs.


What You’ll Need:
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
• Must hold a license in the state of Virginia
• Experience in assessment and crisis intervention response.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with applicable laws and ethical guidelines
• Familiarity with EAP programs preferred.
