The Position:

This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Training and is responsible for management of formal training programs, continuing education, onboarding, and
coordination of training and administration of EBP Programs.


What You’ll Do

  • Maintain current registrations as Continuing Education Provider (APA CE Sponsor Program for psychologists and BBS for MFTs and LCSW)
  • Coordinates with QA Director to ensure timely completion of DMH and CARF training requirements
  • Monitor course attendance and completion of required course evaluations; provide participants with certificates of attendance for CEs. Maintain records as required by APA and BBS. Provide additional copies of attendance certificates upon request from staff.
  • Oversee the supervision training programs for clinical and bachelor level (non-diagnosing) staff at Northridge and Palmdale sites.
  • Respond to and disseminate information regarding upcoming trainings to service directors, division managers, and EBP Agency-Wide Administrators (AWAs) (FFT, PCIT, MST, HFW, Triple P, TF-CBT, MAP)
  • Support the development and execution of in-house EBP trainings as appropriate. 
  • Oversee and support the implementation of the existing onboarding program ensuring alignment with agency standards.  
  • Coordinate with HR and QA to reinforce onboarding objectives and determine role specific trainings.
  • Provide service directors and supervisors with updates regarding changes in BBS regulations as well as other changes in mental health laws. 
  • Hours: Full-time: minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Starting Salary: $113,000 - $122,000

Qualifications

  • M.S.W. or M.F.T. from an accredited school; licensed as an LCSW or LMFT by the California BBS
  • At least 10 years of post-licensure experience in direct service and supervision
  • Experience providing mental health services to highly traumatized children and families
  • Strong organizational, supervisory, and program coordination skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to lead, delegate, and inspire a culture of accountability and growth
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
