Justice Resource Institute (JRI) is a leader in social justice, offering over 100 programs that serve underserved individuals and families throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. We are a nonprofit human services organization providing residential, group home, community-based, outpatient, and public health treatment settings for children, adolescents, adults, and their families. While our programs are varied, the common thread is that we deliver trauma-informed care.
Schedule: This full-time position is based in Needham, Massachusetts, and requires being on-site in Needham.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
In this position, you will:

Oversee and lead JRI’s annual training sessions for all staff.

Manage and guide the Training Department, providing support, supervision, and leadership to all department members.

Direct and enhance JRI’s training offerings to address the ongoing needs of the organization, including core training requirements such as safety, operations, and supervision.

Coordinate and oversee JRI’s internal training strategy, collaborating with other training directors throughout the agency for cohesive training efforts.

Lead and manage JRI’s external training systems, ensuring effective coordination of training providers across the agency.

Develop innovative training content to adapt to the evolving needs of JRI, its mission, and operations. Collaborate closely with JRI leadership to stay attuned to training requirements, both for external sharing and identifying market gaps.

Stay informed about emerging trends and share relevant insights through training sessions with JRI leadership.

Oversee and support the continuous assessment of training delivery methods and tracking systems, including best practices for in-person and online learning.

Collaborate effectively with all leaders and directors across the agency to enhance staff training initiatives.

Lead and support all programs related to the development of training.

Pursue ongoing learning and attend relevant training sessions to ensure the integration of best practices at JRI.

Ensure leadership and oversight of best practice integration within all training initiatives.

Participate in larger JRI and program events to remain knowledgeable about new programs, plans, and services.

Engage in additional JRI-related projects and tasks as required.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
- Clinical licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC) is preferred.
- Extensive experience in providing training is required, along with skills in training coordination and/or event planning.
- Candidates must possess strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Organizational skills and a keen attention to detail are essential.
- Effective time management, adherence to deadlines, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks, are expected.
- Background checks and driving record assessments will be conducted.
