The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the overall leadership and day to day management of the Clinical Team at all company locations. The Director of Clinical Services will provide program staff with oversight in ensuring performance and outcomes are met continuously. Ensures full compliance with all clinical regulatory requirements including but not limited to Title 9, HIPAA, and CARF/Joint Commission. The Director of Clinical Services position functions by both providing supervisory support and oversight to direct care staff while also evaluating and implementing standard operating procedures that impact direct care services. The Director of Clinical Services, with the support of their leadership team, has the primary responsibility for managing staff schedules, completing employee appraisals and resolving problems involving employment matters. The Director of Clinical Services oversees all clinical aspects of each SHWC location

The development and oversight of organizational structure and systems to ensure that all client services are delivered with a commitment to excellence and safety for all involved and in accordance with agency and established professional standards of practice.
Ensures that the clinical program is provided with empirically supported curriculum.
Develops and maintains effective collaborative relationships with local, county, and community partners as well as staying on top of the current clinical trends and research.
Overall supervision of clinical staff including but not limited to clinical leads, supervisors, therapists, clinicians, case managers.
Candidates must be a CA Licensed Mental Health Professional, PHD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT w/ a minimum of 5 years post licensed experience

Work Environment:
Office and Health care setting with clients and other employees present.
Working indoors primarily and outdoors occasionally.
Working in close proximity to others.
May walk on slippery and uneven walking surfaces.
Excessive continuous noise at times.
Working with frequent interruptions.
Typical office and group counseling environment.
Mostly indoor office environment with windows and lights.
Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Attending conferences and trainings.
Travel Required:
Ability to travel to various offices or facility locations
Required education and experience:
Completion of a clinical program with a Master’s or Ph.D./Psy.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related a field of behavioral science from an accredited educational institution.
Four years post-graduate degree management/supervisory experience in a related field.
Must possess a license as mental health professional (MFT, LCSW, PhD., or other national or state issued license)
Current TB Test, CPR/First Aid
Work authorization/security clearance requirements:
Valid Driver’s License
