Under the direction of GCHC Chief Executive Officer and/or designee, performs high level managerial and administrative duties in program coordination, planning, development, monitoring, and evaluation, in a variety of programs and services; provides administrative and clinical supervision to program managers/supervisors; performs related work as required.

Master’s in Social Work or Master’s in a Human Services Field

Michigan Master’s Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential, Clinical and/or Macro

Five (5) years program experience in the area of behavioral health services for individuals with a diagnosis of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, mental illness, and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorder including two (2) years’ experience in supervisory management/program administration which includes an understanding of service delivery in a managed care environment. Willing and able to supervise as requested by senior management.

Master's in Psychology

Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLPcredential

Five (5) years program experience in the area of behavioral health services for individuals with a diagnosis of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, mental illness, and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorder including two (2) years experience in supervisory management/program administration which includes an understanding of service delivery in a managed care environment.

Master’s in Counseling

License Professional Counselor (LPC) credential

Five (5) years program experience in the area of behavioral health services for individuals with a diagnosis of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, mental illness, and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorder including two (2) years experience in supervisory management/program administration which includes an understanding of service delivery in a managed care environment.


Additional Requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain MDHHS credentials as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). May be required to obtain and maintain Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals (MCBAP) supervisory credential as appropriate to licensure.

Must be willing to work flexible hours including occasional weekends, holidays, or irregular hours.

Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License, current automobile insurance, and the use of personal vehicle during work hours. Employee must maintain valid licensure to retain employment.

Preferences:

MCBAP credential; either Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) OR Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) OR Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional –Diplomat (CCDP-D)

  • Vision – Position requires the ability to visually assess details at both near and far distances, as well as to perceive depth and spatial relationships with or without reasonable accommodations.
