POSITION SUMMARY:

Direct supervision of clinical functions while assisting clinical leadership in supervision of the clinical management of all programs.  


II.    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Oversees scheduling of clinical services to meet the needs of all Warrior ECP and Primary programs.

    Supervise the Counselor team, Recreational Therapy Services, and Continuing Care Program to meet the needs of patients and facility.

    Provide clinical oversight for all Warrior programs.

    Collaborate with Vice President of Clinical Services and Accreditation to ensure programming meets all required standards.

    Lead strategic planning for clinical services and submit annual budget proposal for all programs listed above.

    Arrange and provide employee educational services to meet facility needs.

    Direct Clinical Program Directors and Managers in staff development and supervision.

    Assist Directors in monitoring all treatment teams and patient care.

    Identify and develop education for all Warrior employees that creates clinical excellence for programming.

    Monitor continuum of care programs and referral programs to meet continuing care needs of discharged patients.

    Confer with Director of Marketing to develop communication materials necessary to meet external communication goals.

    Collaborate with admissions and clinical programs to ensure excellent delivery of treatment planning and services.

    Participate and or facilitate staff education programs.

    Participate in Community Education and Professional Education programs.

    Provide direct patient care when necessary to ensure that client needs are being met in each program.

    Submit KPI reports as required by the company or to comply with committee assignments.

    Lead, Monitor and maintain adherence to regulations as defined by Bradford’s policy, the Joint Commission, and other regulatory agencies.  

    Supervise and evaluate direct reports.  

    

III.    ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: 


A.    Education and Experience:


    Master’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences. 

    Minimum of two years’ experience in addictions treatment

    Minimum of one year in the field in a supervisor position 

    Licensed as an (LPC, LMFT, LICSW ).

    Previous training and / or experience to demonstrate competency with a special population (e.g., Adult or Emerging Adult)

    Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) skills required.  

    Comfortable working with the public 


B.    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


    Must be CPR certified and capable of administering CPR.

    Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with referrals, other members of management, coworkers, patients, potential patients and families. 

    Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality, including a working knowledge of 45 CFR “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act” and 42 C.F.R. Part 2 “Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records” with respect to patient and potential patient identifying information and health information.  This position has unrestricted access to identifying information and health information concerning patients, potential patients and participants. 

    Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, must not appear impaired or disoriented, but rather must present coherent and articulate speech, kept appearance, alert, oriented, and responsive to patients', potential patients’ and families’ needs and concerns.

    Demonstrate knowledge of substance use and substance use disorders 

    Demonstrate basic computer skills and tying proficiency.

    Other duties as assigned.


C.    Physical Requirements:


    Able to walk approximately one-half mile within facility and on premises per eight hours.

    Able to continuously sit from one-half hour to four hours per eight hours.

    Able to frequently ascend and descend stairs.

D.    Other Requirements:


    If recovering, three (3) years of continuous, verifiable sobriety.  (See Sobriety Policy.)

    Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness as to perform the job in a safe manner.

    Regular attendance; including conference calls and onsite meetings, as necessary

    Able to work in a cooperative manner with coworkers, managers, perspective patients, patients, and families.  

    Pass a criminal background check.  

    Maintain a valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and a driving record permitting coverage under company’s automobile liability policy if necessary.
