As a Direct Support Professional Relief, you will support individuals as they work toward their personal goals while considering what is important to them and what is important for them. Schedule & Work Environment
Support Services of Virginia provides services around the clock. Direct Support Professional Relief staff provide coverage for day, evening, overnight, weekend, and other shifts as needed to meet program and staffing needs. Whether providing support in residential settings or throughout the community, your work plays an important role in promoting independence and quality of life.
Virtual interviews and training are provided through Zoom.
Compensation
• Starting pay: $13.50 per hour
• Opportunity to earn $14.00 per hour after successfully completing training and medication certification requirements
• All certifications must be verified

Requirements
• Proof of highest level of education
• Ability to pass criminal background, registry, and tuberculosis screenings
• Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, and Direct Support Professional Core Competencies
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
