Direct Support Professional (DSP) - OVERNIGHT | Virginia Beach

Support Services of Virginia is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Virginia Beach to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in residential settings. We are specifically hiring for overnight coverage from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM.

Schedule & Work Environment

SSVA provides services 24 hours a day. This position is specifically for the overnight shift, with scheduled hours from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM in Virginia Beach. Candidates should be available to work the overnight schedule based on program and staffing needs.

Virtual interviews and training are conducted through Zoom.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $14.50 per hour
• Opportunity to increase to $15.00 per hour upon completion of training and medication certification requirements
• All certifications must be verified

Requirements

• Proof of highest level of education
• Ability to pass criminal background, registry, and tuberculosis screenings
• Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, and Direct Support Professional Core Competencies
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
