Northeast Counseling Services is seeking a Crisis Stabilization Unit Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead the daily operations of our new 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Walk-In Unit and make a lasting impact on individuals experiencing mental health crises.

The Coordinator will assist in overseeing the clinical and administrative operations of the Crisis Stabilization Unit during daytime business hours. This position provides leadership, clinical support, and operational oversight while ensuring high-quality, person-centered crisis services for adults, children, and adolescents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $40,000 per year, plus experience

Requirements: The position requires a Mental Health Professional with a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Field from an accredited college or university with one year experience in mental health direct care, or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university with ten years' experience.

It is preferred that this position has at least two years supervisory experience. The individual must have a working knowledge of the philosophy, concepts, mandates and operations of community mental health services. They should be proficient in writing and verbal communication skills with an ability to interact with the public including clients and their families, local law enforcement officials, medical personnel and representatives of other human services agencies. They should have the ability to be flexible and adjust to abrupt changes in daily scheduling with a firm understanding of crisis intervention techniques.
