Position 

Summary:

Oversees, coordinates, and provides oversight for TCC mobile crisis service operations for individuals in crisis in Cooke, Fannin, or Grayson counties. Collaborates with contracted entities and community partners including hotline, emergency departments, psychiatric hospitals, and local law enforcement to ensure quality provision of crisis services. Serves as one of TCC’s Suicide Prevention Specialist in the community. Assures programs are compliant with all contracts, applicable rules and regulations and payor sources. Knows and ensures compliance and fidelity with all state and federal statutes and supports Director in accountability to staff for compliance and fidelity, as well as all contract and/or licensing requirements for the LPHA processes. Performs other duties as assigned by Senior Director or EMT. The position will work within the trauma informed care model adopted by TCC and follows all requirements necessary for CCBHC standards and in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of TCC. 








Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Counseling required
  • LPHA license eligible required. 
  • Four years of mental health services coordination experience in a comprehensive mental health services facility or community mental health center.  
  • Demonstrated work history evidencing; effective communications with people at all educational levels, coordination of focused workgroup activities, staff training, use of data, and effective report writing skills. 

                        

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:

  • Current driver’s license and vehicle for use at work 
  • Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively to maintain good working relationships with staff and healthcare providers
  • Working knowledge in Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Staff Coordination and/or continuous quality improvement philosophies and principles is preferred
  • Consistently practices Trauma-informed Model of Care, understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma.
  • The knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
