Community Living Coordinator

Baltimore County, MD Area | Full-Time

Help People Thrive. Lead with Purpose. Build Community.

Every person deserves the opportunity to live a full, meaningful life surrounded by support, respect, and belonging.

We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Community Living Coordinator to join our team and help create opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, work, and connect within their communities. In this role, you'll support both the individuals we serve and the staff who help make that support possible each day.

If you're a relationship-builder, a problem-solver, and someone who believes in the power of person-centered services, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

As a Community Living Coordinator, you'll provide leadership and guidance across multiple residential programs while fostering an environment where individuals are empowered to pursue their goals, make choices, and live as independently as possible.

You'll work closely with direct support professionals, families, healthcare providers, and community partners to ensure high-quality services and meaningful outcomes for the people we support.

Most importantly, you'll help create homes and communities where individuals feel respected, valued, and included.

What You'll Do

Provide leadership, coaching, and support to residential teams.
Build positive relationships with individuals served, family members, guardians, and community partners.
Ensure person-centered plans are implemented with dignity, respect, and consistency.
Support staff development through ongoing training, mentoring, and performance coaching.
Promote safe, healthy, and welcoming home environments.
Coordinate healthcare appointments, services, and supports as needed.
Monitor compliance with agency standards, licensing requirements, and best practices.
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and operational oversight.
Help identify solutions, navigate challenges, and celebrate successes along the way.
Participate in an on-call rotation to support residential operations when needed.

Qualifications: What You Bring

We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting others and committed to creating positive experiences for the people they serve.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supervising staff in residential, community-based, or human services settings.
Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a person-centered approach.
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Most importantly, we're seeking someone who leads with empathy, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

Why Join Our Team?

We are committed to creating a workplace where employees feel supported, respected, and empowered to grow. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of the people we serve, the families who support them, and the communities in which they live.
