About the Role:

The CCTC Clinical Supervisor provides direct clinical supervision for Master of Science Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MSCMHC) students during their field placement at the Community Clinic & Training Center (CCTC) and supervises the CCTC. This position is ideal for Mental Health Professionals who enjoy clinical supervision and/or would like to enhance their clinical supervisory skills. The CCTC Clinical Supervisor’s primary responsibilities are to provide weekly supervision to MSCMHC practicum students and support student growth by reviewing clinical documentation and video recordings of clinical sessions. 

The CCTC Clinical Supervisor will provide timely feedback to students and the CCE Clinical Director and will participate in CCTC staff meetings, participate in CCTC orientation, and be available as needed for crisis consultation. In addition, the CCTC Clinical Supervisor will participate in meetings with the CCE Clinical Director to review student process and address any clinical concerns to ensure that the CCTC creates an environment that is supportive of student development and ensures client safety and well-being. This is an hourly, part-time position and the pay starts at $50.00 per hour, depending on experience. This position may be time-limited (per semester) and will have a mid- and end-of- semester evaluation.  


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a clinical related mental health field. 
  • Independent License: LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, PsyD, LP 
  • Meet Utah DOPL Mental Health Therapist Supervisor requirements (2-years post full-licensure) 
  • Positive professional demeanor that instills confidence, trust, and respect

 

Responsibilities:

Clinical Supervision  

  • Provide weekly clinical supervision for Westminster MSCMHC students during their Practicum placement at the CCTC. 
  • Ensure that all clinical documentation is reviewed, co-signed and feedback given in a timely manner.
  • Attend biweekly 1:1 meetings with the CCE Clinical Director and as needed.
  • Adhere to the AMHCA and ACA Code of Ethics and the supervisors Code of Ethics.
  • Provide supervision in a manner that supports the supervisee's theoretical orientation. 
  • Provide accurate feedback to the supervisee to enhance development of both clinical skills and clinical dispositions. 
  • Be available for consultation in a crisis. 
  • Collaboration with CCE faculty on student development and remediation plans. 

 
Community Clinic & Training Center (CCTC)  

  • Communicate supervision schedule to the CCTC Coordinator.
  • Attend all CCTC orientations and staff meetings.
  • Coverage of the CCTC as scheduled.
