- The CAT Team Lead position will supervise the Community Action Team (CAT) serving youth aged 11 to 21 and their families. The Community Action Team coordinates treatment, rehabilitation and support to youth and their family, completes timely and appropriate documentation of services and must successfully function in a fast-paced, team-driven work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- The ability to work collaboratively with others and to accept constructive feedback from supervisor.
- Willingness to abide by the company’s published rules and regulations.
- Provide management for an assigned group of staff who provide direct services to youth and families, including coordinating and monitoring the activities of the treatment team.
- Conduct screenings of referred youth to determine appropriateness for CAT services
- Assume primary responsibility for supervising CAT team members including weekly treatment team reviews.
- Ensure the development, implementation, evaluation and revision of overall treatment goals and plans in conjunction with the other team members.
- Provide individual, family and/or group therapy ensuring immediate changes are made in the treatment plans as individuals’ needs change.
- Educate and support individuals’ families and advocate for individuals’ rights and preferences.
- Conduct comprehensive assessment of psychiatric history, mental status, developmental history, and diagnosis; physical health and dental health; use of drugs or alcohol; education and employment; social development and functioning; activities of daily living; and family structure and relationships.
QualificationsRequired Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school with a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, psychiatric rehabilitation or a related human services discipline required. Must be eligible to be a registered intern seeking licensure with the State of Florida to be considered for the position and must apply to be a registered intern within 30 days of acceptance of the position.

Required Experience:
- Two (2) years of experience working with children/adolescents with behavioral health needs preferred. Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a community-based service environment.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic setting.
- Familiarity with community resources and services in the mental health field.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in behavioral health services.
- Ability to work collaboratively with community partners and agencies to enhance service delivery.
