Licensed Social Workers & Mental Health Professionals are eligible for a $7500 retention bonus!

 

As a Day Education Clinician, you will provide clinical and IEP mandated services to all assigned students and their families according to program and regulatory guidelines, ensuring that all services are strength-based, individualized and comprehensive according to need. You will report to the identified supervisor and will work onsite.

Responsibilities:


Assess individuals and family situations with a focus on school success
Identify problem areas, treatment goals, and methods to attain goal leading to improved performance at school
Assist school personnel when behavioral situations occur involving students on your caseload
Work with the education team and local school district to develop a comprehensive Individual Education Plan and to monitor ongoing progress of child and family.
Provide therapeutic services to child and family using differential modalities
Work with interdisciplinary team to develop a comprehensive treatment pan and to monitor ongoing progress of child and family
Work with referring and collateral agencies and prepare reports and correspondence
Record and maintain case record in accordance with agency OCFS, DOE, and other states mandates
Participate in intake assessments as assigned
Work with referring school districts and collateral agencies and prepare reports and correspondence.
Engage in ongoing collaboration and communication with teaching staff and students’ parent or guardian


Requirements and Education:


Masters degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
NYS Licensure Preferred: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC-LP
NYS drivers License
