What You'll Do
As a Clinician, you'll provide comprehensive behavioral health and substance use treatment services for adults participating in our programs.
Responsibilities include:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling
  • Facilitate recovery-focused therapeutic interventions
  • Complete clinical documentation in accordance with Florida Administrative Code and agency standards
  • Collaborate with case managers, medical providers, and multidisciplinary treatment teams
  • Respond to crisis situations and develop client safety plans
  • Coordinate referrals and community resources
  • Monitor client progress and update treatment plans
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional ethical standards
  • Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing training

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Sociology, or another qualifying social science field
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or mental health
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of co-occurring disorders and evidence-based treatment practices
  • Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Certification—or ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire
  • Valid Florida Driver License (if transportation duties are assigned)
Preferred Qualifications
You'll stand out if you have:
  • Two (2) years of behavioral health or addiction counseling experience
  • Experience treating co-occurring disorders
  • Residential treatment experience
  • Experience in community behavioral health settings
Work Environment
This role combines office, residential treatment, and community-based services.
You should be comfortable:
  • Providing direct client care
  • Leading therapeutic groups
  • Completing electronic documentation
  • Collaborating with treatment teams
  • Walking throughout treatment facilities
  • Working with individuals experiencing behavioral health and substance use disorders
Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to meet program needs.
Schedules may include:
  • Days (mainly)
  • Evenings (Regularly occasional)
  • Weekends (occasional)
  • Holidays as needed (occasional)
Physical Requirements
Light physical work, including:
  • Sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
  • Computer documentation
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds
  • Assisting during behavioral crises using approved intervention techniques
