The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily program operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and client-centered services. This includes providing clinical direction, coordinating care, supervising staff, facilitating treatment planning and case reviews, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective and comprehensive care for clients and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and supervise clinical staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to support professional growth and quality service delivery

· Facilitate clinical case staffing, diagnostic meetings, and treatment planning to ensure effective, individualized care for clients

· Provide direct clinical services including intakes, individual, family, and group therapy as required by program needs

· Monitor program performance through record reviews, quality improvement indicators, and compliance standards, addressing deficiencies promptly

· Coordinate client care by collaborating with community resources, referral sources, and interdisciplinary teams

· Oversee program operations including scheduling, staffing coverage, and service delivery to maintain compliance with licensing standards

· Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, reports, and client records

· Manage program budgets and service utilization while contributing to fiscal planning and projections

· Respond to crises, oversee incident reporting, and ensure appropriate follow-up care and communication

· Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in quality management activities and reporting

· Maintain safe and organized program environments, including oversight of facilities, equipment, and resources

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field with at least three (3) years behavioral health treatment and one (1) year of supervisory experience

· OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least four years of experience

(2) years of supervisory experience

· AND Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) certification through the Missouri Credentialing Board (or applicable State Board) with four (4) years of professional experience and three (3) years of supervisory experience

· OR Licensed counselor, psychologist, or physician in Missouri with at least one (1) year of professional experience in substance use disorder treatment and one (1) year of supervisory experience

· Must meet criteria as a Qualified Mental Health Professional under Missouri state regulations

Additional Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required

· Ability to effectively supervise, train, and develop team members

· Strong knowledge of behavioral health treatment methods, regulations, and best practices

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Ability to coordinate, evaluate, and improve program services

· Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within required timeframe

· Must complete required behavioral management and ongoing training requirements

Physical Requirements

· Perform sedentary work requiring occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds

· Sit for extended periods with occasional walking or standing

· Use hands and fingers repetitively for typing, writing, and documentation

· Perform tasks requiring visual focus and attention to detail throughout the workday
