About the Role

FR Health is seeking a passionate and results-driven Clinical Outreach Manager to lead our professional outreach, referral development, and business growth initiatives in the Kent, WA area. This role is ideal for a behavioral health professional who combines strong clinical knowledge with exceptional relationship-building and business development skills.

The Clinical Outreach Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and outreach initiatives that strengthen referral partnerships, increase admissions, and expand awareness of FR Health’s services. This position serves as a key liaison between referral sources, healthcare professionals, clients, families, and the clinical team to ensure appropriate placement and exceptional service throughout the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute outreach and marketing strategies to drive referral growth and support organizational revenue goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, healthcare providers, EAPs, public safety agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business development opportunities aligned with organizational mission and strategic objectives.
• Partner with executive leadership to analyze market trends and implement growth initiatives.  
• Review referral inquiries for clinical appropriateness and support accurate level-of-care placement within the First Responder Wellness continuum.
• Coordinate and conduct meetings, presentations, and outreach visits with referral sources and industry partners.
• Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and professional forums.
• Maintain consistent communication with referral accounts through phone, email, and in-person engagement.
• Communicate effectively with prospective clients and families regarding admissions and program options.
• Track outreach activity, monitor referral trends, and contribute insights to improve services and messaging.
• Travel regionally and occasionally out of state to support outreach and partnership development.
• Operate within budgetary, ethical, and organizational guidelines

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Current behavioral health certification or license (e.g., CADC, LAADC, LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in behavioral health, clinical outreach, admissions, or business development.
• Strong understanding of behavioral health services and levels of care.
• Proven ability to build and maintain referral relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel regularly; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Experience in substance use disorder and/or mental health treatment settings.
• Familiarity with referral development, admissions, or healthcare marketing.
• Experience working with first responder or public safety populations
