SeaView Community Services is seeking an experienced Clinical Director – Substance Use Services to provide clinical and operational leadership for our comprehensive addiction treatment continuum, including Residential (ASAM 3.5), PHP, IOP, Outpatient, and Recovery Housing programs.

This is an opportunity to join a nationally accredited, nonprofit behavioral health organization committed to clinical excellence, innovation, and compassionate, person-centered care. As we prepare for Alaska's transition to the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of integrated behavioral healthcare.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and supervise multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Ensure high-quality, evidence-based treatment across all substance use programs.
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Monitor program quality, compliance, and accreditation standards.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and program growth.
  • Foster a therapeutic community culture focused on accountability, recovery, and respect.
  • Build collaborative relationships with community partners and referral sources.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Alaska clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Five years of clinical behavioral health experience.
  • Three years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Preferred

  • Residential treatment leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of ASAM Criteria, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and Medicaid behavioral health regulations.
  • Experience with accreditation and quality improvement initiatives.
