Recovery Centers of America is seeking a Director of Substance Abuse Counseling Services to oversee and develop our clinical department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while leading a passionate team. Position Overview:
As the Director of Substance Abuse Counseling Services, you will play a crucial role in the oversight, development, and management of the clinical department. You’ll lead initiatives aimed at improving clinical quality, collaborating with senior leadership, and ensuring that our programs are responsive to the evolving needs of our clients. This is a leadership role where your experience and vision will directly shape the success of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical strategies and programs at RCA.
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, ensuring adherence to quality assurance procedures and a scientific approach to clinical activities.
- Represent RCA as a clinical spokesperson at external organizations and associations.
- Troubleshoot clinically-related challenges and roll out initiatives to improve service quality.
- Collaborate on the development of new clinical services, partnerships, and care delivery models in response to healthcare reforms.
- Implement procedures to gather timely feedback from both staff and patients to refine clinical practices.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and retention of top clinical talent and ensure effective performance management.
Qualifications:
- Required: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
- Licensure: Must have LCADC and CCS
- LPC or LCSW licensure with supervisory credential preferred.
- 5-7 years of clinical management experience, leading teams and managing processes.
- Proven success in operational performance and a track record of driving clinical outcomes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire staff.

**A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location. Former patients may be considered for employment at locations within RCA other than where they were treated within a year after treatment.
