The Blanchard Institute is a family-centered behavioral health treatment center, specializing in mental health and substance use disorders. The Clinical Assistant is responsible for supporting the Clinical Team by assisting with Family and Client Orientation, helping clients review treatment plans, assisting with case management and referral management, conducting lectures and group activities, conducting assessments, coordinating clinical and holistic services being provided; and arranging additional resources. The Clinical Assistant participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.  


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution required. 
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience working within a related behavioral health field preferred.
  • Prior work in residential, outpatient, or multidisciplinary treatment environments preferred.
  • CADC OR CADC-1 will be accepted in lieu of education requirement.
  • First Aid / CPR Certification.
  • Crisis Intervention Certification
