Serves as Career Counselor of The Ohio International Agricultural & Agriculture Intern Program (TOP) within CFAES International Programs Office.

Primary Duties include:

In charge of internships/trainee programs in agriculture/horticulture. This includes giving presentations, intern/trainee recruitment, placing and servicing a wide range of practical training participants. Organizes orientation programing for participants for special educational programming. Serves as liaison between international organizations sending interns/ trainees and universities departments and private organizations in the U.S. Develops new programming and new partners for exchange.

Responsibilities:

  • 30%- Making student placements for internships/trainee programs in agriculture horticulture. This includes giving presentations, intern/trainee recruitment, placing and servicing a wide range of practical training participants.
  • 20%- Develops new programming and new partners for exchange
  • 25% Research to measure quality of training
  • 25%- Serves as liaison between international organizations sending interns/trainees and universities departments and private organizations in the U.S.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Bachelors - Environmental Science or equivalent experience and 2 years of relevant experience. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
