Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas is looking for a dynamic and talented Call Center Specialist- Saturday and Sunday - 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Non-Remote) in the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Call Center Specialist performs administrative functions to include assistance in the processes for managing patient care by monitoring referrals and connecting them to relevant health care providers. Organizing, facilitating, and coordinating the timely evaluation with therapist and the acceptance of patients referred for services, insurance verification and data entry.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Answers phones at Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas and takes demographic information related to the person to be assessed.
  • Coordinates and processes patent documents and paperwork for patient transfers.
  • Assures all required information is accurately documented within several information system programs.
  • Assists Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator with commitment process, paperwork, and transfer process, if necessary.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in nursing, social work, counseling, or counseling psychology from an accredited university.  
  • A basic knowledge of educational, psychological and social service systems as related to special education and behavior treatment preferred
  • Current CPR or BLS certification. (offered at facility)
  • Current Handle with Care training and Verbal De-escalation training. (offered at facility)
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff. Must be able to work as a team with all staff/coworkers and maintain the ability to treat all patients with respect.

 

EXPERIENCE

Preferred 1-3 years work related experience

Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
