About the Position

As a Bilingual Therapist, you will provide clinical assessment, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, and case coordination services to clients experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges.

Therapists work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, referral sources, schools, child welfare agencies, probation officers, and community partners to support positive outcomes for individuals and families.

Services may be provided in the office, home, school, or community settings depending on client needs.

Key Responsibilities


Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and clinical intakes.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on client strengths and needs.
Provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
Screen and assess clients for crisis situations, including suicidal ideation and other high-risk concerns.
Coordinate care and referrals to appropriate community resources.
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
Submit progress notes and billing documentation according to agency requirements.
Collaborate with schools, DHS caseworkers, probation officers, medical providers, and other referral sources.
Provide client progress reports and treatment updates when appropriate.
Participate in multidisciplinary staffing and treatment team meetings.
Complete required training and continuing education requirements.
Uphold all agency policies, ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and accreditation standards.

QualificationsEducation

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Behavioral Health, or a related field.

Licensure

One of the following Oklahoma credentials:


LPC or LPC Candidate
LMFT or LMFT Candidate
LCSW or Under Supervision Candidate
LADC or LADC/MH
Other behavioral health licensure eligible professionals may be considered


Experience


Experience providing behavioral health services preferred.
Experience working with children, families, trauma, substance use disorders, or culturally diverse populations is highly desirable.


Language Requirement


Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time exempt position.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility to accommodate client needs. Some evening appointments and occasional community outreach activities may be required.
