Behavioral Support Professional -Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
Put Your Behavioral Skills to Work—and Make a Real Difference
Are you a behavioral professional who loves seeing someone learn a new skill, communicate more effectively, become more independent, or successfully navigate a challenging situation?
We are looking for compassionate, dependable, energetic professionals with strong behavioral experience to join an experienced team supporting an engaging young adult with autism.
This is a hands-on behavioral support position, not simply a supervision or caregiving job. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge of ABA and Positive Behavior Support throughout the day while helping the person you support build skills, increase independence, communicate, participate in the community, and enjoy a meaningful and active life.
We are building a 24/7 team, so full-time and part-time positions are available, including weekday, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
The Position
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- A variety of shifts available, including days, evenings, weekends, and overnights
- Flexible scheduling within the needs of the 24/7 team
- $28–$35/hour, based on education, qualifications, and experience
- Ongoing behavioral training and professional support
- Join an experienced team of professionals
What You’ll Do
You will use your behavioral knowledge in real-life situations to help the person you support learn, communicate, participate, and become more independent.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing Positive Behavior Support and ABA strategies
- Following an individualized Behavior Support Plan with consistency and integrity
- Teaching and reinforcing communication, social, functional, and daily living skills
- Supporting skill acquisition and independence
- Recognizing opportunities to teach skills throughout everyday activities
- Responding calmly and appropriately to behavioral challenges
- Helping identify triggers, patterns, and successful strategies
- Collecting information and communicating meaningful observations to the team
- Supporting communication through AAC, PECS, or other communication systems, as applicable
- Participating in community outings, recreation, and meaningful activities
- Helping with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) when needed
- Providing hands-on support when necessary
- Maintaining consistency across settings and between team members
- Working collaboratively with the individual's family, behavioral professionals, and other members of the support team
We’re Looking for Someone Who
Most importantly, you have a genuine interest in behavioral support and enjoy using behavioral principles to teach—not simply supervise.
You should:
- Have experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Positive Behavior Support, or another behavioral approach
- Have experience supporting individuals with autism and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Be comfortable implementing a behavior support plan
- Be able to remain calm, patient, and thoughtful during challenging situations
- Understand the importance of consistency, reinforcement, prompting, data, and skill acquisition
- Enjoy teaching new skills and finding creative ways to encourage success
- Be energetic and willing to participate in activities rather than simply observe
- Be comfortable providing hands-on support and assistance with ADLs when needed
- Be dependable and able to work independently
- Also enjoy being part of a collaborative, experienced team
- Be willing to learn and accept feedback
- Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
- Be physically able to safely provide the level of support required by the individual
Education & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree or training in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
We are especially interested in candidates with experience or credentials such as:
- RBT
- TSS
- NADD
- Behavioral Health
- Special Education
- ABA
- Psychology
- Other behavioral or disability-support credentials
Experience with AAC, PECS, functional communication, skill acquisition, data collection, or behavior support plans is a plus.
We are also interested in experienced professionals who may not have a specific credential but have demonstrated, meaningful experience providing behavioral support.
This Is More Than a Caregiving Position
This isn't a position where you're simply there to supervise someone or fill time.
Your behavioral skills matter.
You will have opportunities throughout the day to use behavioral principles to teach communication, build independence, reinforce appropriate skills, work through challenges, and create opportunities for success.
You might be teaching a new daily living skill, helping someone communicate what they want, practicing a community skill, reinforcing successful communication, or working through a difficult moment using strategies from the individual's behavior support plan.
The goal is not simply to get through the day.
The goal is to help the person have a successful day.
Interested?
If you're looking for a position where you can use your behavioral knowledge in meaningful, everyday situations, we'd love to hear from you.
We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions and have a variety of shifts available as we build a dependable 24/7 team.
When you apply, please tell us a little about your experience with ABA, autism, Positive Behavior Support, or other behavioral services—and what interests you about this position.
