The Behavioral Health Program Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs that support adolescent behavioral health and wellness. This role will manage program operations, grant requirements, reporting, and community partnerships to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed services. The ideal candidate will also have experience in program management, adolescent behavioral health, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders to achieve program goals and positive youth outcomes. This position is supported by grant funding from September 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029.


Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate care with schools, providers, and community partners as required
  • Manage the effective tracking and reporting of monthly, bi-annual, and annual activity progress 
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports, correspondence, and other written materials 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, grants and behavioral health priorities according to the strategic objectives of the organization
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with cross-sector partners to ensure program goals, objectives, and services are met at the highest quality 
  • Recommend program design modifications as needed to ensure program supports innovation 

Education/Experience: Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field. Experience with program management. Eligibility for LCSW-A preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Professional knowledge in the areas of prevention, adolescent behavior, substance use or addiction
  • Skills in Microsoft applications; organizing workflow and coordinating programs/projects
  • High level of skill in oral and in written communication and interaction with community partners, families, staff, grantors, employees and other CHA divisions
  • Ability to solve problems, engage partners, manage conflict, and be self-motivated
