Location: Alluma Youth Program Day Treatment

If you are looking for an opportunity to build a career in mental health and make a difference for children in our community, we are looking for you!  This position focuses on delivering therapeutic skills and training services to children and youth enrolled in a clinical day treatment program who have an identified mental health diagnosis. This position works at an Alluma office located in Crookston, MN. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals and practitioners, learning and growing in your experience and career.  

As a behavioral health practitioner, Alluma offers clinical supervision to support your growth and ongoing success as a mental health provider. We provide board-certified supervisors for Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Counseling.

Key Responsibilities:


Provide individual and group skill services to children, primarily ages 7-11 years old.
Engage with families to support treatment planning, communication, and coordination of care.
Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and administration to support students’ overall development and progress toward goals.
Create and implement interventions focused on emotional regulation, behavioral dysregulation, social functioning difficulties, trauma related symptoms, and family/environmental stressors. This will be done fully with a team including the mental health therapist provider.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with organizational and licensing standards.
Transportation of children with an Alluma agency vehicle.

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:


A bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field or qualified experience in the delivery of services to adults or children with mental illness. (Please reach out if you have questions on your qualified experience).
Licensure or license eligibility in the state of Minnesota (Alluma does require an LSW for bachelor’s degree in social work).
Experience or passion for working with children and families in a school-based or clinical setting.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
