Responsible for daily supervision of clients enrolled in the School Based Day Treatment Program. This position also supports the supervisor and therapist in planning and leading group activities and maintaining a safe, supportive and learning environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1) Responsible for implementing the daily schedule in the Day Treatment program day.

2) Plan and lead Day Treatment groups.

3) Supervise clients at all times.

4) Work one-on-one with clients, as necessary.

5) Learn and effectively utilize the Day Treatment program model.

6) Learn and effectively utilize de-escalation and restraint techniques.

7) Collaborate with school personnel.

8) Attend all necessary Camelot trainings.

9) Accurately complete clinical documentation on a daily basis.

10) Attend staff meetings as required.
QualificationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Documented paid work experience with SED children, adolescents and their families required. A Bachelor degree in a Human Service discipline preferred but not necessary. A Bachelors Degree in Social Work (BSW) highly desirable. Ideal candidates have skills gained through working in a residential or partial hospitalization setting working with children and/or adolescents. Other skills may include: implementing behavior management techniques, working with youth in developing life skills, coping skills, and managing mental health diagnoses.
