Position Summary

 

The Behavior Analyst is responsible for assessing behavioral needs, developing and implementing behavior support plans, monitoring client progress, and providing training and guidance to staff and caregivers. This position utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to improve behavioral, social, communication, and adaptive living skills for individuals with developmental, behavioral, or intellectual disabilities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct behavioral assessments and analyze data to identify areas of need.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support and intervention plans.
Collect, review, and interpret behavioral data to evaluate progress and treatment effectiveness.
Provide training and ongoing support to direct care staff, caregivers, and families regarding behavioral interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of treatment strategies.
Monitor client outcomes and modify interventions as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and program development activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field.
BCBA, BCaBA, or eligibility for certification preferred.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or behavioral health needs.
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention strategies.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
