Assisted Living Program Manager


Position Summary
The Assisted Living Program Manager oversees daily operations of the assisted living program,
ensuring compliance with Minnesota Chapter 144G regulations, resident-centered care, quality
services, staffing oversight, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities


Operations Management
• Oversee daily facility operations and resident services.
• Ensure staffing schedules meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor facility safety, cleanliness, and maintenance.


Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Minnesota Assisted Living statutes (Chapter 144G).
• Maintain survey readiness and oversee corrective action plans.
• Ensure required documentation and recordkeeping are complete and accurate.


Resident Care Coordination
• Coordinate assessments, service plans, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and family members.


Staff Leadership
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Promote employee engagement and retention.


Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Human Services, Social Work, or related
field preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience in assisted living, healthcare, home care, or
long-term care.
• Knowledge of Minnesota Chapter 144G regulations preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.


Physical Requirements
• Ability to walk throughout the facility and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and assist staff when necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

• State survey compliance and deficiency reduction.
• Resident satisfaction and retention.
• Staff retention and training compliance.
• Incident reduction and timely investigations.
• Budget and operational performance targets.
