ASSISTANT RESIDENCE MANAGER

Do you have a passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and a desire to lead? The Arc of Westchester is seeking dedicated and experienced Assistant Residence Managers to join our team.

In this leadership role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the well-being of our residents. You'll provide direct oversight to direct care staff and collaborate with supervisors to manage all aspects of our residential programs in a group home setting.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise direct care staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
• Ensure residents' physical, social, emotional, communication, safety, and independent living needs are met.
• Implement and enforce all policies and regulations within the residence.
• Advocate for residents and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma, Associate's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
• A valid NYS driver's license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a residential setting providing services for individuals with IDD.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
