About the Role

We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Co-Occurring Disorder Therapist to join our team. This role is essential to our mission, providing therapy, crisis support, and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a Co-Occurring Disorder Therapist with Carolina Outreach, you will provide community-based, in-home therapy to individuals with mental health and substance use needs as part of our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. Services include individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, substance use treatment, and support with daily living, employment, and community functioning.

This role involves collaboration with clients, families, and support systems to promote symptom stability, recovery, and independence, while also supporting the ACT team through clinical consultation and care coordination.


Conduct substance use assessments and implement treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy, including crisis and behavioral interventions.
Collaborate with clients, families, and support systems to achieve goals outlined in the person-centered plan.
Offer clinical guidance on substance use, crisis planning, and transition planning within a multidisciplinary ACT team.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and be available to support the team and clients as needed, including after hours.

Compensation

This role is compensated on a salaried basis, providing consistent earnings aligned with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.
 


Compensation: $52,083.46  to $71,289


Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience.

Responsibilities


Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with care teams as needed
Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)
 

QualificationsQualifications


Education: Master's degree in human service field
Licensure: CCS, CCAS or LCAS (or provisionally licensed and receiving the appropriate supervision), required.
Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance, required.
