Job Title: Advanced Practice Professional – Behavioral Health            

Location: Chambersburg, PA

Employment Type: Part-Time 

What You’ll Champion:

• Unique “Inboxologist” Role: Serve as the primary provider supporting behavioral health inbox management, ensuring timely patient communication and continuity of care for providers who are part-time, on PTO, or otherwise unavailable.
• Meaningful Patient Impact: In addition to inbox coverage, providers may see patients needing urgent appointments when their established provider is unavailable, helping maintain access to timely behavioral health care.
• Flexible Part-Time Opportunity: The greatest coverage need is on Mondays and Fridays, with some scheduling flexibility available to support work-life balance.
• Join a multidisciplinary behavioral health practice that provides counseling, psychiatry, and behavioral medicine services, working alongside experienced psychiatrists, psychiatric CRNPs, counselors, and therapists.
• Practice at WellSpan Behavioral Health - Chambersburg, an outpatient behavioral health clinic serving patients with conditions including anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use disorders through individualized treatment plans.
• Support a growing practice that is accepting new patients and focused on improving access to high-quality behavioral health services in the community.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Masters Degree For Nurse Practitioner. Required or
• Bachelors Degree For Physician Assistant. Required
• Masters Degree For Physician Assistant. Preferred

Work Experience:

• 1 year Relevant experience. Required

Licenses:

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners and appropriate clinical specialty certification. Upon Hire Required or
• Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program. Upon Hire Required
